Celebrating the Art of Edward Waldo Emerson

This exhibition, located on the first floor of the Main Library, July 30 - September 10, 2026, features a rare selection of works by Edward Waldo Emerson, son of Ralph Waldo Emerson, including many pieces on loan from private collections on view here for the first time. Also included are several paintings, sketchbooks, and his palette from the Concord Free Public Library’s William Munroe Special Collections, which also holds Edward’s papers.
